Jin Yi is a Senior Associate of RCLT Law Corporation.

Prior to joining RCLT Law Corporation, Jin Yi practiced at a mid-sized law firm, where she has acted for and advised individual and corporate clients in civil and commercial disputes.

Jin Yi graduated from Singapore Management University in 2021 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2022. She is proficient in English and fluent in Mandarin.

  • Advised and acted for a claimant who sued his family member for breach of an oral agreement and breach of duties as trustee and/or fiduciary and/or agent for the claimant due to non-account of and/or misappropriation of profits of the family business 
  • Advised and defended an individual against a BVI-incorporated company which sued for, inter alia, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of constructive trust, unjust enrichment, etc. due to non-account of profits of company amounting to approximately US$3.4 million
  • Advised and acted for multiple claimants who sued a developer for fraudulent and statutory misrepresentation, vicarious liability, etc.
  • Advised and defended an oil-related company against insolvent company suing for approximately US$43 million in an SIAC arbitration
  • Advised and defended an oil related company against insolvent company suing for approximately US$2.8 million in an SCMA arbitration
