Stella is an Associate Director with RCLT.

Before joining RCLT, Stella trained and practised at a leading law firm led by one of Singapore’s top Senior Counsel.

Stella has acted for and advised individuals and companies in private client disputes and commercial disputes.

These include estate and trust disputes, investment-related disputes, shareholder disputes, claims concerning breaches of directors’ duties, employment disputes and claims concerning breaches of contract.

She has also acted for clients on matters involving white-collar crime and investigations.

Stella graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Bristol, where she won the Dean’s Prize and was commended for the best performance in Insolvency Law.

Stella is conversant in Mandarin Chinese and has acted on a number of matters with Mandarin-speaking parties and witnesses. In 2022, she obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Business Mandarin for Legal Professionals from the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business.

  • Acted for an individual in a claim relating to the distribution of monies under a will and codicil: Khoo Phaik Eng Katherine and another v Khoo Phaik Ean Patricia and another [2023] SGHC 314.
  • Acting for an individual in a misrepresentation claim for recovery of monies: Chong Jorina v Ritz Property Investimentos Imobiliarios Ltda and another [2026] SGHC 120.
  • Acting for an individual in a claim for interest in a property worth around S$50 million.
  • Acted for a former employee in defending an application for injunctions involving claims in excess of S$70 million: Zhong Renhai and others v Goh Sock Ngee and others [2025] SGHC 43.
  • Acted for a defendant in a claim for legal and beneficial interest in a HDB flat before the Singapore High Court. The matter was successfully resolved in mediation.
  • Acting for a former director of a cryptocurrency financial service provider in a misrepresentation claim to recover sums in excess of US$5 million.
  • Acted for a company in an intellectual property claim concerning a novel point of law in relation to Google advertisements: East Coast Podiatry Centre Pte Ltd v Family Podiatry Centre Pte Ltd [2025] SGCA 28.
  • Acted for a former CEO and director in a claim by liquidators relating to breaches of directors’ duties and the Companies Act: partly reported in Hyflux Limited (in compulsory liquidation) and others v Lum Ooi Lin [2023] SGHC 113; Lum Ooi Lin v Hyflux Limited (in compulsory liquidation) and others [2023] SGCA 43.
  • Acted for a former director of two foreign companies in a claim for breaches of directors’ duties and conspiracy: Hector Finance Group Ltd and another v Chan Chew Keak [2023] SGHC 127.
  • Acted for an investment-holding company in an application to seek the Court’s declaration on the interpretation of a loan agreement: Quayside Investments Pte Ltd v 38 Degrees Pte Ltd [2021] SGHC 181.
  • Acted for a shareholder in an application to wind up companies on just and equitable grounds: Kathryn Ma Wai Fong v Trillion Investment Pte Ltd and others [2019] SGCA 18.
  • Acted for former directors of a company in an application by a shareholder to commence a derivative action under section 216A of the Companies Act.
  • Acting for an entity assigned the claims of hundreds of investors in a misrepresentation claim for recovery of monies.
  • Acted for a Singapore-listed transport company in a claim brought by a former employee for breaches of the Employment Act and employment contract: Chua Qwong Meng v SBS Transit Ltd [2022] SGHC 208; Lee Chye Chong and others v SBS Transit Ltd [2021] 5 SLR 821.
  • Acted for brokers from a brokerage firm in a claim for breach of employment contract.
  • Advised an individual under investigation on issues relating to the Securities and Futures Act and the Companies Act.
  • Assisted in an internal investigation of a listed company on regulatory matters and advised the company on employment matters.
  • Acted for an individual in a private prosecution relating to the Computer Misuse Act and successfully obtained a discharge amounting to acquittal.
